Nordic skiers can glide along at a leisurely pace on machine-made tracks set in the snow. For a faster paced cardio workout, skiers can try skate-skiing along corduroy-covered lanes of packed snow between set tracks. The powerful, diagonal action of skate skiing is similar to ice-skating and provides a great workout. Learning to Nordic ski and snowshoeing is made easy by Fox Run’s outstanding instructors, who are eager to help each participant be the best they can be. Private and group rates are available. For the snowmobilers, Fox Run provides vast trail access and some of Vermont’s most breathtaking vistas including a trip to the Pinnacle. Complete storage facilities are located on-site as is a gas fill pump with 93 octane fuel and no ethanol.

The Fox Run Nordic Center features 7 miles of traditional well-marked Nordic track trails and skating lanes that wind their way through pristine meadows and Nordic hillsides along the Black River. The conveniently located Nordic Center Also includes an additional 7 miles of dedicated snowshoe trails. Fox Run Nordic features daily, modern trail grooming utilizing state-of-the-art grooming equipment and terrain ideally suited to all ability levels.
